Of Lori Reed's 7.5 habits of a lifelong learner, I'd say I'm smashing at 4.75 of them. I use technology to my advantage. I have confidence that I can learn new things and do well at them. I set goals all the time! The one I'm best at though is my "learning tool box." Working at a public library I've learned about many kinds of resources, particularly free, community resources. Working in Telephone Information, I've learned even more. (Hey, I guess my job has also helped me to teach and mentor others, so make that 5.75 successful habits for this lifelong learner.) Where I tend to fall short is in accepting responsibility. The way that manifests in my learning quest is a lot of stops and starts. I have a tendency to start out strong and fizzle. Repeat as needed. So, don't expect all my entries to be quite this zippy. There may be fizz.
